Bullet Planes: all set to air-fire!

The aerospace sector has come up with a revolutionary whirl called bullet plane. Wouldn't that be amazing if your air travel could be always affordable and faster than the conventional flights? Let us have an idea of this new technological innovation.

Celera 500L- The first experimental bullet aircraft

Celera 500L is introduced by Otto Aviation group LLC - United States, in August 2020. It took so many years for its testing, certification, and fulfilment.  It has so many remarkable features when compared to the conventional aeroplanes. The aerospace technology claims that the Celera 500L is one of major aerospace inventions made so far.

How does a bullet plane differ from a conventional aeroplane?
It is characterized by its shape similar to a bullet. In order to maximise the laminar flow, it has got an optimum length-to-width ratio for the fuselage. Inside the Celera, there is a six seated spacious cabin. Each seat is first-class quality with customizablele configuration.

Key Features
  • Less fuel consumption- It has 1/8th fuel consumption than that of a conventional aeroplane and also travels with a speed of 740 kilometres per hour. That means it can fly with less fuel to long-distance than that of a conventional flight.
  • Better fuel efficiency- It has a fuel efficiency of 18-25 miles per gallon litre of fuel. Conventional flights have poor fuel efficiency when compared to bullet planes.
  • Budget-friendly travel expense- Bullet planes claim that travel expense for a passenger will be comparatively much less when compared to conventional flight charges. Improved fuel efficiency makes the travel charge a reasonable one for the passenger.
  • Less carbon emission- Cerela claims that it can reduce carbon emission by 80%.
Otto group claims that by 2025, commercial bullet flights would be available. It has completed 31 test flights successfully. Otto also believes that their bullet planes could bring greater possibilities in private aircraft sectors. Who is going to say a no to very economical and faster domestic air travel?
